Cacciata, established in 2011, is crafted in honor of the wild boar, a symbol and guardian of the precious and unspoiled land in Italy.
The wild boar is an important ally that roams freely in our vineyards, located in a protected natural oasis in the center of the “golden triangle” of the Chianti Classic region. Our friend, with its extraordinary sense of smell, selects and eats only those grapes that are perfectly ripe. This feasting indicates it is time for our harvest to begin and usually in brisk competition with the forces of nature. Our wines are typical of the region’s best and are to be enjoyed with a wide variety of food, such as roasted or grilled meats, game, and aged cheeses.
The Cacciata Super Tuscan Collection family of wines include Chianti Classico Riserva, Toscana Blend, and Vermentino.
