At Stone Cellars, our goal is to achieve the optimal level of flavor and balance in our wines - this starts in the vineyards! Our family owned vineyards are located throughout California, in regions that offer ideal grape growing conditions of particular varietals, delivering on each wine’s commitment to true varietal expression. We believe in honoring and practicing traditional winemaking techniques to maximize flavor from the grapes by extracting the utmost depth in color for reds, and preserving the brightest fruit for our whites. Our wines are food friendly, with each varietal back label clearly identifying the wine style that is right for you, from Sweet to Medium-Sweet, and Medium-Dry to Dry.

Alan Sargisian
Winemaker
Born and raised in Turlock, California, Alan Sargisian stumbled into the field of winemaking. After graduating from the University of California, Merced with a degree in Chemistry, Alan landed an internship in the wine industry. It was there that his new passion was unlocked. His interest in fermentation science made him want to explore the industry further, so Alan moved abroad where he earned his master’s degree in Wine Management from Bordeaux, France.
Alan believes that great wines start in the vineyards. “Having the right soil types and proper treatment on the vines is crucial to a successful grape yield. Once the grapes are picked and brought in, it is now the one and only opportunity to produce the best California wine of this vintage. My approach is to ensure the absolute best stylistic quality and consistency for our customers to enjoy around the world.”
Alan considers every day an opportunity to get better. He loves his work that engages all the senses, involves science, art, and physical labor, and inspires camaraderie through teamwork. He hopes to provide the next generation of winemakers with the same guidance and direction that he has received from his Bronco Wine Co. team.
